About

Sleepy Kitty is Paige Brubeck and Evan Sult. Now based in Brooklyn, NY, the duo originally started making posters for their own bands in Chicago and relocated to St. Louis in late 2008 to set up their first screenprinting and art studio where they spent 10 years.

Known for their colorful gig posters, in 2011 they were named St. Louis’ "Best Poster Designer" by the Riverfront Times. They have since made posters for tours and concerts featuring Guided By Voices, Sharon Van Etten, Ezra Furman, and Highly Suspect among others.

In addition to printmaking, Brubeck and Sult collaborate on art direction and multimedia projects working for various theater companies, film projects and working in print editorial design. They have expanded into more video work including co-directing the Emmy nominated trailer for the 2017 St. Louis International Film Festival.

They are also a band called Sleepy Kitty. Sleepy Kitty has toured the U.S. and Canada and their music has been featured in TV shows and films including Shameless and Becks. In 2017 they released an EP of avant garde Hamilton covers called "Bastard Orphan." They are currently working on their third album.
